Woopi Backpackers Hostel - Woolgoolga

Always choose this place for my stay. No regrets. Staff recommended great restaurants on my first visit. This place has everything I need - Wi-Fi, kitchen, laundry, game room. Coming back for Christmas. Love it!

The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well-run. We had a triple room, and the bed was comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The street parking was safe. The breakfast was nice, although there was a shortage of bowls and utensils.

Great location near main and back beach. Surfing opportunities twice a day. Clean and bright common areas, welcoming atmosphere. Nice kitchen to socialize with neighbors. Cozy bar with occasional concerts. Feel like part of a big family.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my city trip - just a short walk to the beach and conveniently close to my workplace. I also appreciated the cleanliness and tidiness of the common areas, especially the bathrooms and toilets. The breakfast provided was nourishing and the kitchen was well-equipped. Additionally, the staff did a great job of keeping the dishes clean and dry.

I did have a small issue with bed bugs during my stay, which resulted in several itchy bites. This was not a pleasant experience, especially since it affected my presentation at work.

The location of this hostel is great, with a vibrant pub just downstairs offering a wide selection of beers on tap. the private room I booked was modern and clean, with excellent bathroom facilities. the common areas are well-organized and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

The noise levels at night can be quite disruptive, as the venue across the road and people on the street can be loud, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming atmosphere of the hostel. The decoration had a lovely beach theme that made me feel like I was on a tropical vacation. The common areas were always kept clean and tidy, which made it a pleasure to relax and socialize with the other guests. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was. It was easy for me to navigate around the premises without any issues.

The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is a designated quiet area where we can unwind and have some peace and quiet. Sometimes, the energy of the younger guests can be a bit overwhelming for us seniors.

The rooms at Woopi Backpackers are cozy and comfortable, with a queen size bed and king single bunk that provide a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring. The personal wash basin adds a convenient touch, making it easy to freshen up. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated having access to the fully equipped industrial style kitchen. It made meal preparation a breeze and allowed us to stick to our dietary preferences.

Just a personal preference, but the shared bathroom setup was not our favorite. Others may still enjoy it though.

A spacious social area and modern facilities make for a fantastic stay. The Japanese-inspired design adds a touch of privacy, while the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. The kitchen and dining area, though small, exude a charming coziness. The adorable dog adds a playful element to mealtimes, and the proximity to restaurants and a supermarket is ideal. Surfers will rejoice in the nearby surfing spots. The friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds, in-room sink, towels, excellent shower facilities, and convenient amenities like air conditioning at night. The well-equipped kitchen and inviting common areas, including the free pool table, further contribute to a memorable experience. Additionally, the proximity to the beach and restaurants adds to the allure of this backpacker's haven.

The skylight was fabulous for enjoying the fresh air and sunlight. until a bird decided to join me indoors. Such a unique experience! And the farm workers added a charming touch to my stay.

The value for money at this hostel was very nice. The pod style bunk beds offered a cozy and private feel, with plenty of storage space for luggage. The location was perfect, with restaurants and bars nearby. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my entire stay.

The food for breakfast could have been improved with more variety.

Regularly washed top blankets. Cute dog. Convenient location near beach, shops, and cafes. Downstairs has good air conditioning. Modern with chill out and outdoor areas.
